Up On The Roof – Weekly Photo Challenge – Infinite
As you know I hail from the Bavarian Alps and I’ve never been afraid of heights. In fact I love being up high looking down at the view. So when Manny and I arrived in Frankfurt our first stop was the highest vantage point in the city. At 200 metres, the Main Tower is the fourth highest skyscraper in Frankfurt and the highest place open to the public.
The elevator took us to the 54th floor in no time. Then we had to walk up the stairs to the 56th floor to reach the viewing platform. Once there the outlook was amazing.
The city seemed to go on forever and the cars and people below were tiny.
We didn’t go too close to the edge.
I might like heights but I didn’t want to test my luck.
